Zouk Workshop with Mari Hodges! June 6-10

Mari is coming to San Diego again June 6 – 10 to give workshops and classes to help you improve your zouk lambada dancing!
If you are new to the dance, come and learn the beautiful and sexy Brazilian partner dance is all about.
All levels welcome!
Workshop Info:
$60 for all classes (8 hours)
$20 for each 2 hour class
$10 for dance party + potluck party on Thursday

Mari has been dancing zouk lambada for 15 years. She began her teaching career in New York, then moved to Buenos Aires where she has lived and taught for almost 10 years, teaching and performing regularly at the two of the most promiment zouk lambada venues: Maluco Beleza and Porto Seguro. In 2009 she was an official teacher at the 3rd Zouk Lambada International Congress in Brazil. She travels to the US each year to teach classes and has also taught in Israel. Her philosophy is that dancing should be truly enjoyable for both partners as well as aesthetically beautiful. She reflects this in her positive and encouraging classes where she emphasizes connecting harmoniously with one’s partner in graceful, clean steps while also dancing with the music. Her students appreciate her clear explanations of technique that help them improve their movement and enjoy the spirit of the dance.
